HERE Technologies (officially trading as HERE) is a company that provides mapping and location data and related services to individuals and companies. The company is majority-owned by a consortium of German automotive companies like  Audi, BMW, and Daimler, while other companies also own minority stakes. HERE Technologies’s roots date back to the United States-based Navteq in 1985, acquired by Finland-based Nokia in 2007. They are nowadays operating in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
